School of Business & Commerce

Eligibility for B.B.A Course

Interested aspirants for the course need to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.

  • Completion of HSC (10+2 level) from a recognized educational board.
  • Minimum aggregate score of 45% for Gen category and to 40% for SC/ST at 10+2 level of education from a recognized educational board.

Eligibility for B.Com(Hons.)

The basic eligibility for admission to the B.Com (Hons) Program is mentioned below.

  • Candidates must pass in Higher Secondary School examination from a recognized educational board.
  • Minimum 45% marks for Gen category and 40% for SC/ST are required at 10+2 level.
  • Although, candidates from Science and Arts stream are also eligible to apply, those with Commerce stream are preferred.
  • There is no work experience required for the course. However, students with work experience can also apply.

School of Science & Technology

Department of Computer Science and Engineering

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 4 year B.Tech(CSE) and 3 year B.C.A course at department of Computer Science and Engineering for the academic year 2018-19. Admission shall be on the basis of performance in a personal interview. Personal interview will judge the aptitude of students needed to excel in different roles that a CS graduate may perform in the 21st century. The interview will be centered around following themes:

  • Foundation of Computer Science
  • Student’s ability to analyze problems and provide competent solutions
  • Checking creative and innovative thinking
  • Exposure to the emerging technologies and latest trends in the industry
  • Check code of conduct and ethics required for Computer science field.

The personal interview shall also find out the aims & objectives of a student for opting CS as his discipline of study. CSE department will accordingly prepare the learning trajectory of a student for a bright future.

Admission Criteria for B.Tech CSE

  • Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th)

Admission Criteria for B.C.A

  • Minimum 50% marks in any discipline with English and Maths as subjects, at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

Department of Civil Engineering

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 4 year B.Tech and 2 year M.Tech in Civil Engineering, Glocal University for the academic year 2018-19. Admission shall be on the basis of performance in the Glocal Admission Test (GAT) for B.Tech Programme and personal interview for M.Tech programme (Desirable: Candidate who has qualified GATE exam).

Admission Criteria

  • Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th)

Students with valid State Engineering Exam/ IIT JEE score shall be directly called for Personal Interview. Their admission shall be finalized on the basis of their performance in SEE/IIT JEE and Personal Interview.

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 4 years B.Tech ECE Programme, Glocal University for the academic year 2018-19. Admission shall be on the basis of performance in a personal interview / Glocal Admission Test (GAT) or both for B.Tech ECE Programme.

Admission Criteria for senior secondary students:

  • Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th)
  • They must have secured a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC) marks in aggregate in these subjects to be considered for selection.

Admission Criteria for Diploma in the appropriate branch of engineering students:
Candidate with a diploma in the appropriate branch of engineering awarded by a State Board of Technical Education, and with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate in diploma is also eligible for admission to B Tech Curriculum in Second year (Directly).

Department of Petroleum Engineering

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 4 year B.Tech at Glocal University, for the academic year 2018-19. Admission shall be on the basis of performance in the Glocal Admission Test (GAT) for B.Tech Programme.

Admission Criteria

  • Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th)
  • * Minimum 50% aggregate in diploma (Chemical/Petrochemical/Mechanical) for Lateral entry in B.Tech 2nd year.

Department of Mechanical Engineering

Admission Criteria for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering :

  • Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th)

School of Pharmacy

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to two year course of Bachelor of Pharmacy for the academic year 2018-19. Admission shall be on the basis of performance in a personal interview. Personal interview will judge the aptitude of students needed to excel in different roles in Pharmacy. The interview will be centered around following themes:

  • Basic knowledge of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
  • Student’s ability to analyze problems and provide competent solutions
  • Checking creative and innovative thinking
  • Communication skill of student

The personal interview shall also find out the aims & objectives of a student for opting Bachelor of Pharmacy as his discipline of study. Glocal School of Pharmacy will accordingly prepare the learning trajectory of a student for a bright future.

Admission Criteria

Eligibility Criteria: 12th with Science and Biology/Mathematics. For admission to Bachelor of Pharmacy the applicants must have cleared qualifying examination without percentage barrier from a recognized education board.

Selection :  A merit list of eligible candidates would be drawn up on the basis of selection criteria that would be decided by a Committee constituted to oversee Admissions to the programme. A candidate would be selected for admission strictly on the basis of his/her position in the merit list.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 5 year integrated B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B. at Glocal Law School, Glocal University for the academic year 2018-19. Admission shall be on the basis of performance in a Glocal Scholarship Test. Glocal Scholarship Test will judge the aptitude of students needed to excel in different roles that a law graduate may perform in the 21st century. The test will be centered around following themes:

School of Agricultural Science

B.Sc. Agriculture

Admission Process :

If you are interested in joining a 4 year BSc agriculture/Forestry degree program under management / NRI quota in Glocal University, please follow the admission process as detailed below. In general, the application process for admission to BSc Agriculture/Forestry begins in the month of January and completes by June every year. Please note that the admission is purely based on merit following the central and/or respective state government / university / college rules and regulations.

Eligibility Criteria:

The entry requirement for BSc Agriculture is 50% marks for General and 40% marks for SC, ST and PH categories in 10+2 / Intermediate or equivalent with PCB / PCBM / Agriculture subject combinations.

Age: Between 17 and 23 years for general categories and relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC (Physically Challenged) categories.

09 Steps for Admission:

Step 1: Ensure that you are meeting the eligibility requirements as mentioned above.
Step 2: Fill and send the Admission Counseling Form.
Step 3: Send Rs.5000/ by cheque or DD or cash.
Step 4: You will receive a notification to your email and mobile for the date of counseling.
Step: 5: Get counseling on the specified date and clear all your doubts.
Step 6: Upon receiving satisfactory admission guidance, fill the Official Application for Admission into BSc Agriculture/Forestry course.
Step 7: Submit photocopies of certificates, passport size photo, Aadhaar card, PAN/Passport
Step 8: Pay the Course fees in Full as communicated during the counseling
Step 9: Within 7 days after receiving the above documents and course fees, Admission will be confirmed from the University and an official Admission Offer letter in original is delivered to the student.

School of Life & Allied Health Sciences

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 3 year B.Sc. Biotechnology (Hons), B.Sc. Microbiology (Hons), 3.5 year B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology at School of Life & Allied Health Sciences for the academic year 2018-19. Admission shall be on the basis of performance in a personal interview. B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology

Admissions through GAT/Personal Interview

  • Passed 10+2 examination with physics/chOnline Application Form
  • Chemistry & mathematics/ Biology. Candidates need to obtain at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together.

Faculty of Education

Applications are reviewed for basic eligibility, academic performance, and other evidence of the candidate’s suitability to his/her preferred programme

The admissions committee responds within 12 working days of receipt of application and sends:

  • A confirmed admission offer, or
  • A request for an additional written test and/or interview, in case the admissions committee feels it needs additional information on the applicant, or
  • A note of regret, in case admission is declined
    • Eligibility

    A candidate should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree/Master Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce/B.Tech of any recognized university with at least 50 % marks.

    The reservation and relaxation of 5 % marks will be given to the candidates belonging to S.C./ S.T and other notified categories as per the Central Government/ State Government.
