School of Business & Commerce

Eligibility for M.B.A Course

  • Candidates must pass Graduation from a recognized educational Institute/University.
  • Minimum 50% marks for Gen category and 45% for SC/ST are required at graduation level.
  • Candidates from all streams are eligible to apply.
  • There is no work experience required for the course. However, students with work experience can also apply.
  • Examination pathway admissions through GAT (up to 60% of seats).
  • Non Examination pathway- admission through CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT score (up to 40% of seats).

School of Life & Allied Health Sciences

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 2 year Post Graduation (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology & Microbiology at School of Life & Allied Health Sciences for the academic year 2018-19. Admission shall be on the basis of performance in a personal interview. Personal interview will judge the aptitude of students needed to excel in different roles that a trained professional graduate and post graduate may perform in the 21st century. The interview will be centered around following themes:

  • Applications of Biotechnology & Microbiology
  • Applications and significance of medical diagnostic techniques
  • Checking creative and innovative thinking
  • Exposure to the emerging technologies and latest trends in the industry

Admission Criteria

M.Sc. Biotechnology

Admissions through GAT/Personal Interview

  • B. Sc. (Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry) or B. Sc. (Microbiology /Medical Microbiology/ Biotechnology / Genetics / Industrial Microbiology) or B. Sc. MLT/MM with minimum 45% marks.

M.Sc. Microbiology

Admissions through GAT/Personal Interview

  • B. Sc. (Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry) or B. Sc. (Microbiology /Medical Microbiology/ Biotechnology / Genetics / Industrial Microbiology) or B. Sc. MLT/MM with minimum 45% marks.

School of Science & Technology

M.Tech. in Civil Engineering

Duration: 2 years divided into 4 semesters

Eligibility
  • Citizenship: Indian nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
  • B.E/B.Tech or AMIE or equivalent in Civil Engineering with minimum 50 % marks.
  • Age requirements: No minimum age limit.
  • Desirable: Candidates qualified in GATE

M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering

Duration: 2 years divided into 4 semesters

Eligibility
  • Citizenship: Indian nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
  • B.E/B.Tech or AMIE or equivalent in Computer Science & Engineering with minimum 50 % marks.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Duration: 3 years divided into 6 semesters

  • BCA/B.Tech or AMIE or equivalent in Computer Science & Engineering with minimum 50 % marks.

M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering

Duration: 2 years divided into 4 semesters

Eligibility

Admission criterion

A candidate must have passed B.Tech./ B.E. or equivalent examination in Mechanical Engg./ Production Engg./ Industrial Engg./ Mechanical & Industrial Engg./ Industrial Production Engg./ Production & Industrial Engg. or equivalent from a recognized University.
