National Women’s Symposium organized at Glocal University on National Women’s Day

Inspired by the vision of the Vice Chancellor of the Glocal University Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti, the Glocal University organized the ‘National Women’s Symposium’ on the eve of National Women’s Day.
The program commenced in the grand auditorium of Glocal University with the lighting of the lamp accompanied by Ganesh Vandana. Thereafter, the dignitaries were honored with bouquets, shawls, and mementos by the Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.)Satish Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Mishra, Registrar Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Pandey, and Dean of Academic Affairs Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar.

The opening remarks of this symposium were given by the Organizing Chair and Dean of Academic Affairs, Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar. The welcome speech was delivered by the Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar Sharma.
The coordination of this symposium was jointly done by Mrs. Swarnima Singh, Dr. Reshma Tahir, Dr. Waseem Ahmed, Dr. Mohd Wazid Khan, Mrs. Khushbu Kausar, and Ms. Shaili Raghav. The conduct of this program was jointly handled by Dr. Reshma Tahir, Mrs. Swarnima Singh, and Mr. Mohammad Waseem.

The keynote speakers of this program were Dr. Sandhya Verma, the State Secretary of the Science Center in Madhya Pradesh, Prof. Prerna Gaur, the Director of NSUT Main Campus, and Prof. (Dr.)Manju Khari of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi. They shed light on various aspects of women’s empowerment and made the women present aware of their rights.
On this occasion, all the female employees of Glocal University were honored with the Nari Shakti Samman.
The programme concluded with a lecture and a vote of thanks by the Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Mishra, and it was wrapped up with the National Anthem.
In addition to the aforementioned dignitaries, the Chief Proctor Mr. Jamirul Islam, Mr. Gurudayal Katiyar, CFO A.P. Singh (CA), along with all department heads, academic and non-academic staff, and IT department employees, as well as students, were present with great enthusiasm.
