GLOCAL CELEBRATES THE NEW YEAR 2023 & BIRTHDAY OF HONOURABLE CHANCELLOR
To welcome the New Year, 2023 with great enthusiasm and happiness to look forward and welcome opportunities and try to ameliorate the quality of life,student and faculty members of Glocal University, celebrated the New Year with power and positivity.
On 3rd January 2023, the morning assembly was graced by the presence of all the higher authorities, Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) P.K.Bharti, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Satish Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Pankaj Kumar Mishra, Dean Academics Dr. Pramod Kumar, Registrar Dr. R.D. Diwedi, Campus Director Dr. Shiv Parsan Pandey, Heads , faculties and staff of various school of Glocal University for the event with colorful fun filling outdoor games and activities arranged for the faculty, the grand feast was also organized for the assembled Glocal family in which a wide range of traditional dishes were served.
Everyone enjoyed the conditioning like Musical Chair, passing the pillow and lemon race with the warmth of sun in the Central Plaza. After a break all the members of Glocal University gathered for the most awaited Speech of our Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. PK Bharti.
Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. PK Bharti conceded the staff and scholars for their individual and collaborative efforts in contributing to the consummation of the Glocal University’s accreditation to give advanced educational services in tutoring, exploration, invention and extension in 2022. He stated that last time, 2022 was filled with colorful milestones and achievements, and that would not have been possible without faculties fidelity and commitment to University.
With transparent vision he is looking ahead, 2023 in Glocal, should reflect a radical change in focus and station through a pronounced commitment to the Universitys Core Values. These Values include- fostering cooperation,invention, networking, forbearance and a culture of peace, embracing excellence, translucency and responsibility, rehearsing professionalism,meritocracy, equivalency, integrity and social justice, maintaining self-respect,discipline, responsibility, institutional fidelity, national patriotism and transnational competitiveness, continual enhancement of services in order to remain competitive and applicable.
He further informed that the University accreditation provides multitudinous openings for particular and Institutional growth and development. Glocal efforts in technology development, incubation, transfer and commercialisation will become the base of its very actuality, and the reason for university’s success. He prompted each and every Glocal family member this time to make that tangible contribution in making it the best University. At last, he made a statement to make 2023 “The Time of strategic evolution of Glocal University”.
The faculty and staff felt great to hear kind words from him and ended the event with joy, refreshment and entertainment.
