On January 19, 2024, a cleanliness campaign within the campus premises of the Glocal University was organised in view of the proposed Pran Pratishtha event of God Shri Ram’s idol in Ayodhya on January 22. The cleanliness drive was organized under the visionary guidance of the Vice-Chancellor of Glocal University, Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti.
On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti of Glocal University stated that the university is committed to making the campus clean and beautiful through the cleaning of plastic and dirt, and a special cleanliness campaign is being conducted in all the offices of the university from January 14 to 21. Through this cleanliness campaign, Glocal University is not only fulfilling its social responsibility but also dedicated to environmental conservation.
The campus director of Glocal University, Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Pandey, informed that special arrangements for lighting have been made in the university premises from January 22 to 26, and the university has been decorated. Additionally, Glocal University has declared January 22, 2024, as a public holiday.
This program was organized in accordance with the directives of the Higher Education Department and the Housing and Urban Planning Department of UP Government.
In this program, along with the aforementioned dignitaries, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Sharma, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Mishra, Dean Academic Affairs Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, along with all department heads, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness campaign.
