The PhD program imparts in-depth knowledge and research skills required to contribute to management research. It creates the capacity for learning and innovation in the face of rapid changes in the social, economic, technical, and political contexts of management. The curriculum has the following specific learning goals:
Research Scholars will:
1.Demonstrate advanced knowledge of literature, theory, and methods in their field (Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Organizational Behavior, or Strategy & Innovation).
2.be prepared to teach at the undergraduate and master’s level in a business school.
3.produce original research of quality appropriate for publication in scholarly journals.
Q. What is the Eligibility Criteria for getting admission in Ph.D?
A. For admission to Ph.D (Finance/Marketing/HR/ Economics), a Candidate should have: Passed MBA or equivalent examination and obtained at least 55% (50% marks for reserved category students).

Q. Is a selection interview required?
A. An interview may be requested by the Admissions Committee. The interview may be conducted either in person or via telephone, by invitation of the committee.

Q. How long does it take to complete the program?
A. Students in the Ph.D. program typically complete the program in 3 to 5 years. Students must take approximately 6 to 8 months of course work followed by preparing for and passing the qualifying examination, and researching and writing the dissertation.

A. Yes, financial aid is available in the form of internal and external fellowships, teaching assistantships and research assistantships.
Q. Can I have two Supervisors?
A. Yes, you can have a supervisor and a co- supervisor.
