Recognition / Approval by Statutory Bodies

The Bar Council of India is a statutory body established under the Advocates Act 1961 that regulates the legal practice and legal education in India. Its members are elected from amongst the lawyers in India and as such represents the Indian bar. It prescribes standards of professional conduct, etiquettes and exercises disciplinary jurisdiction over the bar. It also sets standards for legal education and grants recognition to Universities whose degree in law will serve as a qualification for students to enroll themselves as advocates upon graduation. BCI has approved our courses BA LLB (Integrated), BBA LLB (Integrated) after verifying the various requirements to be satisfied for the award of degree. (Click link below to download)

Approval by State Government

  • Glocal University is a privately funded State University established through an act of State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh (02 of 2012)

Professional Membership

Glocal University is now recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The AIU Governing Council in its 328th Meeting, granted provisional membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to Glocal University, UP. AIU serves as the representative of universities in India and undertakes various programs as would help to improve standards of instruction, examination, research, textbooks, scholarly publications, library organisation and such other programs which may contribute to the growth and propagation of knowledge.
