The course of study in Diploma of Pharmacy comprises of Part-I, Part-II and Part-III. There shall be an examination in the first year on the subjects of Part-I and an examination in the second year comprising the Part-II subjects and three months hospital training comprising Part-III.

A. D. Pharm. course is a Professional Pharmacy diploma programme of 2 yrs duration after 10+2 (science academic stream) which includes 2 yrs of academic study + 3 ymonths of hospital training.
Q. Is Diploma in Pharmacy approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)?
A. Yes, this course is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) under section 12.
Q. What are the eligibility criteria to join D. Pharm. courses?
A. Candidate must be passed in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology.

A. Maximum intake capacity is 60.
Q. Is Glocal University Affiliated To Any University For Purpose Of Recognition Of Degrees?
A. Glocal University is a University established under sec 3 of UGC Act 1956. Being a University, the question of affiliation to another university does not arise. Since the university is recognized by UGC and Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, the courses offered by Glocal University are recognized.

A. Syllabus for Diploma in Pharmacy is fixed by Pharmacy Council of India. Pharmacy Council for Diploma course does not follow credit system.

A. Yes. After completion of D. Pharm, student may get admission in B. Pharm, IInd Year directly by lateral entry. It will save 1 one of B. Pharm.

A. Students may get got in Pharmaceutical Companies in Production, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Unit. After completion of D. Pharm. candidate would be eligible for opening their own Pharmacy Retail Shop by using his PCI registration certificate.
Q. This year I have passed previous year of post graduation. Now I want to pursue B.Ed program. Is it possible?
A. Yes. You can take break from your post graduation and can resume your PG after passing B.Ed; subject to the permission from the University from where you are pursuing your post graduation.
Q. Whether a candidate who has undertaken MBBS/BJMC/B.Pharm./Nurshing/B.Sc. (Hotel Management)/B.Lib. or any other subject at degree level in graduation which does not come under the purview of the conventional subjects taught in schools is eligible for the B.Ed. programme?
A. No. A candidate who has undertaken a professional degree other than B.Tech. (with specialization in Science and Mathematics) is not eligible for the B.Ed. programme.

A. No. A candidate who has undertaken a degree in vocational subjects is not eligible for the B.Ed. programme.
Q. What is the duration of the B.Ed program?
A. As per NCTE Regulations 2014 from academic session 2015-16 and onwards duration of B.Ed program is of two academic years. In our University this program will run in four Semesters.
Q. What is admission process in B.Ed?
A. Admissions shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the Glocal University.

After completing Masters in Education and meeting norms one could become Teacher Educator in the M.Ed., B.Ed. and D.Ed. (BTC/JBT) program of any Government or Private Institution.
