Prof. Khalid Anis Ansari as Scholar-in-Residence in the historic Tougaloo College, Jackson MI (US)

Prof. Khalid Anis Ansari, Senior Assistant Professor, Glocal Law School, was invited as scholar-in-residence for the week long symposium Vocational Discernment in Global Contexts hosted by the historic Tougaloo College in Jackson Mississippi (US) from September 24-30 2017. Tougaloo College is a private, historically black, liberal arts institution, which was founded in 1869 by the American Missionary Association and is widely respected for being the hub of civil rights action in the 1960s.

Prof. Khalid Anis Ansari, Senior Assistant Professor, Glocal Law School delivered a talk entitled ‘Pluralism and the Post-Minority Condition’ organized by the Boston Study Group (BSG) in the prestigious Harvard University on October 5 2017. He was introduced by Dr. Suraj Milind Yengde, an associate with Department of African and African American Studies, Harvard University, and was felicitated by the Boston Study Group with a bust of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar at the end of the discussion.

Prof. Khalid Anis Ansari, Senior Assistant Professor Glocal Law School was invited to deliver a talk in the international conference “Seeking Social Justice in South Asia” hosted by the Center for South Asian Studies at the University of Michigan on September 22-23, 2017.  The conference’s aim was to focus attention on stark and persistent political, economic, and social inequalities and the ongoing struggles to address them in contemporary South Asia. The conference brought together a group of internationally-renowned lawyers, activists, academics, and producers of media (print and multimedia) to consider a range of interconnected

The new academic session at Glocal University starts today, Wednesday September 06,2017 with the orientation programme. The students were admitted in 25 different courses from different parts of the country. The programme started with the welcome address by the university Vice Chancellor, Prof B.L. Raina


Glocal at FICCI Higher Education Summit 2016

Glocal University was the proud Gold sponsor at the FICCIs 12th International Higher Education Summit 2016 between November 10 and 12.

The objective of this summit was to explore the opportunities in the field of higher education and deliberate on the ways to attract more and more intemational students to India.




Tech Mahindra Collaborates with Glocal University

Tech Mahindra Business Service group joined hands with the Glocal University for establishment of excellence centre in the University. Tech Mahindra Business Service group with its employee excellence centre will work with the university to create a talent pool by conducting periodical trainings for the students at the university.




Workshop on Microsoft Based Technology

A technical workshop which is based on Microsoft Technology and other latest market trends of IT Industry with the collaboration of Mindtears Pvt Ltd (MindTears, a growing IT organization and also involved in providing quality education in advance fields such as .NET, MVC, C#.Net, ADO.Net, EntityFramework, NHibernet, AJAX, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, SQL Server, Mongo DB, etc. ) was organized in The Glocal University on 3rd of March from 2-5pm.

UGC Team Visits Glocal

The first UGC visit to Glocal University from 6-8th October 2015 was a grand success. UGC team repeatedly appreciated the world class infrastructure of and was visibly impressed by the active involvement of students and faculty members in the development of Glocal.

In order to mark respect for cultural diversity in the campus Glocal University celebrated Kati Bihu, the traditional Assamese festival from the North-Eastern part of India, on October 18 2015.
